![]() It will usually have a file extension of ".bin", but there may be other file extensions that are used. There might be more than one file for the game (ie a ".cue" file, etc), so make sure you open the largest file which should be around 413 MB. Open the Samurai Shodown file with with your favorite hex editor. ![]() If you're not familiar with hex editors or you can't get it working, let me know and will figure something else out. Here is the info on how to patch the bin/ROM file to get it working. I tried playing the game with him and it seems to work fine, but only tested him on the first level. I'm sure the game would probably crash once you got to the end of the game with him, but it would be really cool if there was a patch to make him selectable.I got it so that Amakusa is selectable. In 1p mode he's still on the select screen but you just can't put your cursor over him. ![]() The Sega CD version of Samurai Shodown has the final boss Amakusa selectable only in 2p versus mode. I meant to suggest this years ago when you first started this topic, but just now realized I hadn't.
